Book Sales & Donations

Book Sales

The Friends of the Thorntown Public Library group has two book sales each year at the library: one in May which falls around the Friends of the Library annual meeting and one in September during the Festival of the Turning Leaves.

Book sales usually include new and old titles, magazines, movies/TV shows, and audiobooks.

We accept free will donations of cash, check, and credit card.

*Credit/Debit card donations may be made safely and securely through Square. QR Codes will be available to scan with your smart phone during the book sale.

Donations

The library accepts new or gently used, and clean donations. Items that are not currently in the library collection may be added or material will be added to the upcoming book sale.

Items we accept: books, DVDs, puzzles, games, and magazines.

Items we do NOT accept: VHS, encyclopedia sets, medical books, or text books. Burned DVDs are also not accepted.

Proceeds from Friends of Thorntown Public Library book sales help to fund library programs, reading incentives, and special projects throughout the year.
